Definition
Qualitative UX Research method based on a one-on-one conversation between researcher and user to explore motivations, contexts, frustrations and needs. It can be structured (fixed script), semi-structured (script + openness) or unstructured (open). It usually takes 5-8 interviews to detect ~80% of recurring patterns.
