LEONELKREA

Privacy Policy.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data leonelkrea.com processes, for what purpose and what rights you have. We take your privacy seriously and only ask for what is essential.

Data controller

The controller is LeonelKrea (personal brand of Leonel Pérez), hereinafter “we”. For any question about your data, write to work@leonelkrea.com.

What data we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email, message and the project details you share (project type, budget, features…), plus any files you choose to attach.
  • First-party analytics: browsing data (such as pages visited, approximate city or session duration) linked to a pseudonymous technical identifier that does not directly identify you. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
  • Private-area access: reserved for the site owner via a one-time code sent by email. There is no open user sign-up.

Purpose and legal basis

  • To reply to your enquiry and assess a possible project — basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in handling your request.
  • To measure and improve the site with first-party analytics — basis: your consent (managed from the cookie banner).
  • To put your enquiry in context: if you accepted analytics cookies, we link the pages you visited before writing to us to your message, so we can better understand what you need — basis: your consent. If you did not accept them, your message is handled with no browsing history attached.
  • To keep the private area secure — basis: legitimate interest in protecting the site.

Who processes data on our behalf

We rely on providers acting as processors that only handle data on our instructions:

  • Resend — sending the form emails and the access codes.
  • MongoDB Atlas — storing messages and first-party analytics.
  • Vercel — hosting the site and serving the pages.
  • Microsoft (Clarity) — heatmaps and session recording, only if you accept analytics cookies. This may involve transferring data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland (Meta Pixel) — only if you accept marketing cookies: it receives the address of the pages you visit to measure campaigns. We are joint controllers with Meta for that collection; afterwards Meta processes the data as controller, under its own policy. This may involve transferring data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep your data

We keep form messages for as long as they are needed to handle your request and any relationship arising from it. Analytics are kept for a maximum of 13 months from your last visit, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to work@leonelkrea.com. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for the site to work and, only with your permission, analytics and marketing cookies. The detail and how to manage them is in our Cookie Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the site or in the law. The “last updated” date shows the version in force.
