Definition
An Endorsed Brand is a hybrid brand architecture model in which a product or service features its own distinct name and identity while carrying the explicit visual or verbal endorsement of a respected parent brand (e.g., Courtyard by Marriott, Sony PlayStation, Apple Watch). It grants the new venture the parent company's instant credibility, quality assurance, and synergy while preserving the agility to target dedicated niches and containing reciprocal reputational risk.
