Definition
A schematic representation of an interface that fixes structure, hierarchy and content without color, typography or visual style. Because it's cheap to produce and discard, it lets a team debate how a screen is organized before investing in visual design. Its rough look is deliberate — it invites critique of the structure, not the aesthetics, which is exactly the conversation you want early on.
