Definition
Pricing Power is the ability of a company or brand to raise prices or command a premium price point without suffering a debilitating decline in sales volume. In ISO 20671 and the Brand Engineering Framework, pricing power serves as the supreme quantitative financial indicator of brand equity: it reflects demand inelasticity built through irreplaceable perceived value, immunizing the organization against commoditization and discounting wars.
