Definition
Minimal moments of interaction — a button reacting to the press, a toggle confirming its change, a counter animating to its new value — designed to give immediate feedback and personality. Each one is nearly invisible on its own; together they are what separates a product that feels good from one that merely works. They are hard to specify in static mockups, which is why they usually get designed and tuned directly in prototypes or code.
