Definition
International system administered by WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) to classify the goods and services covered by a trademark registration. Established under the Nice Agreement of 1957, it comprises 45 classes (34 for goods + 11 for services). When registering a trademark, you select in which of these classes protection is claimed.
