Definition
The role responsible for how the product is experienced: research, prototyping, flows, UI, accessibility, design system. It turns validated needs into a tangible, usable experience. It usually covers UX research, visual UI, and interaction design in a single profile (especially in startups). In large teams it specializes (UX Researcher, UI Designer, Design Systems Lead).
