Definition
The paid advertising platform of the Meta ecosystem (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Audience Network). Historical strength: extremely fine demographic/behavioral targeting and visual/social formats. After iOS's privacy changes (App Tracking Transparency, 2021) much of the tracking has come to rely on server-side modeling (Conversions API).
