The Mac mini M4 is one of those purchases that surprises you on power-to-size-to-price. It fits into any corner of your desk, you barely hear it, and it handles design, 3D and code without breaking a sweat. As a fixed workstation it's hard to beat.
I run it with two monitors and it turns into a full workstation for a fraction of what an equivalent laptop costs. Apple's classic catch with the mini is still here: you pick the RAM and storage at purchase and can't upgrade them later.

- RAM and storage aren't upgradable after purchase
