Google's code editor with built-in AI agents. I use it as my day-to-day editor: I launch Claude from the terminal and, along the way, take advantage of its native Gemini, which I find superior for front-end.
First and foremost it's a good modern code editor (familiar if you come from VS Code) to which Google has added AI agents natively. As a day-to-day editor it does the job without friction, and that alone earns it a place.
The way I use it is practical: I run Claude from the integrated terminal for coding tasks, and I take advantage of the bundled Gemini, which gives me better results on front-end. Having both on hand in the same place is the point. It's a recent product, so it evolves fast.
